Working together for your children

Our pre-school has a high ratio of adults to children in the setting which helps us to operate a key-worker system in which each member of staff looks after the development records for a small group of children and allows us to:

  • give time and attention to each child;
  • talk with the children about their interests and activities and use observations of the children to inform our planning for their development;
  • help children to experience and benefit from the activities we provide; and
  • allow the children to explore and be adventurous in safety.
